Temporary Ice Hockey Arena, Prilly, Switzerland

Project: The temporary ice stadium  was the stadium of Lausanne HC from the National League in the 2017 - 19 seasons. Until the new ice arena was completed, the club held its home games in the temporary ice rink. The 6,700-capacity hall was built in just seven months and met all the requirements of the Swiss National League. The figure skating and short track took place during the 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games.

Task: Client consultancy and feasibility study (2015-16). Project structuring, tendering, bid evaluation, value engineering, incl. project support in planning phase (2016-2017)

Fête des Vignerons 2019, Vevey

Project: The Fête des Vignerons took place from 18 July to 11 August 2019 in Vevey, canton of Vaud. It is a Swiss wine festival that only takes place approximately every 25 years. This unique and traditional celebration attracted 375,000 spectators in a specially constructed arena with 20,000 seats on the market square. The numerous events in the city were attended by over 1 million people.

Tasks: Project management from 2016-2019 for the conception, feasibility, tendering, awarding, planning and construction management of the temporary arena (grandstands, stages, platforms, interior fittings)

Candidature for Olympic and Paralympic Games 2024 / 2026

Projects: Bid to organise the Olympic Games in Rome (Summer 2024) and Calgary (Winter 2026)

Tasks: Feasibility study for a demountable or reusable large sports hall in Tor Vergata with a capacity of 15,000 spectators (2016, Rome) and feasibility study for an approx. 5000 m2 large, demountable self-supporting multifunctional hall on the BMO site (2018 Calgary) for permanent reuse after the Games on another location.

World Expo 2020 Dubai, UAE

Project: Swiss Pavilion, World Expo 2020, Dubai

The Swiss Pavilion at the World Expo 2020 (1 October 2021 - 31 March 2022) with its huge red carpet was one of the most popular and most visited pavilions. The visitor magnet was the nature experience in the form of an artistically designed mountain panorama, which revealed itself after emerging from a sea of fog. The 1300 m2, 20 m high temporary pavilion won several awards.

Tasks: Client consulting and project support during the tender phase (2017), incl. bid evaluation, as well as for the planning and project planning phase of the pavilion construction (2018-2019)

Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024

Project: Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024 - Planning of temporary infrastructure and sports facilities for the  Games

Tasks: Assignments in the conception and planning phase (2021-2022) for various cost analyses, specifications, feasibility studies as nominated expert for two works categories. In collaboration with Mott McDonald, technical feasibility study (2020) for urban sports cluster on the Place de la Concorde, as well as needs analysis and feasibility study for the approx. 1000m2 megastore (2021) on the Place Clémanceau, Paris.
